Guest Information

As a private club, use of Laconia Country Club’s facilities is exclusive to members. However, invited guests are welcomed and encouraged to enjoy the amenities.

Attire

The Club maintains a reasonable standard of attire on the course and throughout all other areas. Acceptable on-course attire includes long slacks, mid-length pants (capris), Bermuda shorts, golf skirts/skorts, golf shirts (collared or mock-neck style), sweaters, jackets, caps, and hats. Cut-offs, running or gym shorts, denim, t-shirts, halter-tops, and tank tops are not considered proper attire for the golf course.

Appropriate informal attire consistent with the above is acceptable in the Clubhouse. Denim is permitted in the Clubhouse, as long as it is properly sized and worn at normal waist height, in excellent condition, and is consistent in color. Denim must not include holes, rips, or be frayed; denim shorts and skirts, painter pants, overalls, and low-cut/low-slung jeans are prohibited. Footwear must be worn at all times. Members and guests are encouraged to use common sense and respect the comfort of other individuals when making on-course and casual-attire decisions.

Guest Fees

For the 2022 season, guest fees are:

  • 9-Holes - $45 per player
  • 18-Holes - $85 per player

Push carts are available for $6 for 9 holes and $10 for 18 holes. Riding carts are $13 for 9 holes and $25 for 18 holes. Unaccompanied guest fees are $145 plus applicable cart fees.

Guests may play no more than five times per year, excluding tournament play, with the exception that a member’s child, grandchild, spouse, or parents who (a) reside outside a 50-mile radius of Laconia and (b) do not own property within a 50-mile radius of Laconia shall have no play number limitation. On weekends, holidays, and other peak times, members with guests may be required to take tee times after foursomes of members have been accommodated. This will be at the discretion of the Pro Shop.

Policies

Players should ensure they are ready to tee off at their appointed time. An 18-hole round should be completed in no more than 4 hours and 15 minutes. To help maintain this pace of play, there are clocks strategically positioned throughout the course to keep play moving.

A playing group that fails to keep pace on the course and is behind the players ahead by more than one clear hole must allow the following group to play through or pick up and move forward.

Golf rangers and professional staff may be on duty to help regulate play. Rangers and professional staff have full authority to enforce all golf course rules, regulations, and pace of play policies. All players are expected to cooperate fully with rangers and professional staff.

Players who stop or delay play after nine holes, for any reason, must occupy the tenth tee before the following players arrive at that tee or they will lose their position on the golf course. Players must check with the starter before continuing if any delay occurs.
